Toronto Council Fire is an autonomous, Indigenous-led cultural centre serving the urban Indigenous community. Guided by culture, teachings, and language, it provides counselling, material assistance, housing & shelter supports, youth and seniors programming, arts & culture initiatives, and community partnerships that promote well-being and the Celebration of Life.

Cultural Centre Housing & Shelter Supports Food & Essentials Youth & Seniors Healing & Wellness

Projects & Drop-In Services

Drop-In Services (7 days/week): meals, food & clothing bank, legal clinic, literacy, healing programs, and housing supports (intake, referrals, case conferences).

Outcomes & Evaluation: tracks transitions from street to shelter, transitional and supportive housing; gathers feedback to improve services.

Roles Supported: coordinator, drop-in support worker, community client support worker, food services worker.

Capital Project (HPS): renovations and equipment upgrades for safer, more accessible services (e.g., lighting, soundproofing, flooring, kitchen equipment, cooler, vehicle).
